Mission Statement
Our mission at Winola Auto Sales is to deliver the highest quality automobiles at affordable prices. We keep our inventory relatively small in order to devote close attention to the cars in our inventory. Each vehicle offered for sale is vigorously inspected and reconditioned as needed. The reconditioning process involves repairing any pre-existing mechanical or cosmetic issues and performing a full preventative maintenance procedure.
The sales manager, George, has had a liking for cars ever since childhood. In highschool, George went on to compete in Skills USA at the national level, where he placed 26th in the nation overall against an initial 15,000 competitors in the field of automotive service. George also holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and enjoys procuring, repairing, and selling the vehicles here as he considers it his favorite hobby.
Once the vehicles are ready to roll, they are subjected to the PA state inspection and driven at least 100 miles to get a feel for the vehicle. This is an important step to us, because we want to understand the driving and handling characteristics of our vehicles so we can relay that information to the customer. Some examples of unique driving characteristics are as follows:
-Fuel mileage
-Ride comfort
-Acceleration, braking, safety
-Features of the vehicle
We consider it our due diligence to learn these vehicles inside and out, and we also tend to have a lot of fun doing so. Having sold 63 vehicles in the year 2016, we are aiming to make 2017 another year of providing great vehicles to our consumers while continuing to learn the ins and outs of the vehicles on the road as we procure and sell them.
